My copy arrived this morning, can't wait to get stuck into it. Just looking at the cover brings all the memories flooding back. Joe, Joe, Joe Mercer.

Great news. Apparently, all subscriber copies will have been posted out by the end of today.

At present no bookshop is stocking the item, although they can be ordered.

Bookshops should receive their copies early next week, but my publisher (James Ward - <a class="postlink" href="http://www.manchesterfootball.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">www.manchesterfootball.org</a>) has signed copies available on his website and on Amazon - <a class="postlink" href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Joe-Mercer-OBE-Authorised-Successful/dp/0955812747/ref=pd_ts_b_3?ie=UTF8&s=books" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.amazon.co.uk/Joe-Mercer-OBE- ... F8&s=books</a>

Any orders via these two methods will have their copy posted out within 24 hours of the order being made, and the book will be one signed by me.

Hope you enjoy the book.

I received my copy of the book a couple of days ago. Looking forward to reading it and checking out the pictures. Nice to see my name in the subscribers list towards the back of the book.

Looking to also get hold of the Manchester: A Football History and The Big Book Of City. Would I be able to get signed copies from the links you provided in your previous posting Gary?

For the Big Book Of City you can get signed copies direct from the publishers James Ward - <a class="postlink" href="http://www.manchesterfootball.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.manchesterfootball.org</a> or via the James Ward seller details on Amazon <a class="postlink" href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/0955812720/ref=dp_olp_1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listin ... f=dp_olp_1</a>

Obviously, if you buy from one of the other Amazon sellers the copy won't be signed. Only James Ward copies have been signed. Some of the amazon sellers are selling the book at a cheaper price than the publishers are allowed to if they want to maintain any form of relationship if Amazon and other retailers.

Hope you enjoy "Joe Mercer, OBE: Football With A Smile".

"Manchester A Football History" is totally out of print, although I think Manchester Visitor Centre at the Town Hall Extension may still have a few. I did sign some copies for them as well.

do you remember all the head lines when JOE died, compare to when busby died, ffs they where equal to each other, and yet the world went red daft, yet JOE got a 10 second mention, on sky sports, RIP joe at least us BLUES will always remember you and WILL ALWAYS RESPECT YOUR MEMORY.<br /><br />-- Sat May 08, 2010 12:49 pm --<br /><br />
