Joey Barton on twitter...

How often do you lot actually watch Modric?

5 mins on MOTD once a week?

You lot are sounding more and more like United fans every day.

I highly doubt his Scoring/Creating stats are anywhere near Silva's, this season or last.

Okay, Modric passes the ball around...looks lovely, but there is very rarely an end product and that is what he is paid to do, not look pretty on the ball.

He gives players space to work and has the magical touch to open up defenses for van Der Vaart, Bale etc to do the rest.Tottenham would not be nearly as good without him.He hold them together. But Silva is a mile ahead

Bale wow what an asset... Lennon..move over messie...Parker who needs Gerrard or lampard..

Poor little City how will we be able to live with your SUPERSTARS.. will that be the last 5-1 we ever get against you..how will we manage think we should make Arry a saint.. Now I mean who did you beat QPR.. THE REAL MADRID OF ERMM SW London?

I remember when we had Charlie Corluka thinking we should sign Ollic/Kranjcar and Modric as well then we'd have the backbone of the national side that beat England in the Euro qualifiers. I guess I had the AC Milan (3 Dutchmen) and Inter (3 Germans) teams of the 80s-90s in mind.

When the Summer rumours were going around, Modric was linked with us. I'd have been happy to have had him around. And - tin hat on - I'd have preferred him to Samir Nasri.

Samir's doing alright though.

He's an attention whore who just wants more people 'tweeting' him.
Anybody who measures personal validation of their own worth by counting the number of communications from from complete strangers s clearly damaged goods.

Also chances created
Silva - 32
Nasri - 23 (haven't bothered with his Arsenal stats)
Modric - 15

I don't know what's worse, Joey Barton overrating Modric or that one player who slagged Dzeko on twitter a little while before he put 4 past the spuds.

Twitter, making people eat their words since 2009.
