I knew a bloke once that had shelves and shelves of classic literature in his front room. Shakespeare, Orwell, Steinbeck, Oscar Wilde etc. His missus told me one time he's never actually read a book in his life, he just wanted visitors to think he was well-read, and educated.

Does anyone remember the interview he gave with Gabby Logan a couple of years ago? I have no idea why they indulged him but he was going all philosophical saying he wasn't put on earth to play football, he was destined for greater things. One of life's bizarre moments indeed lol!!
