That's pretty cool and good on you. How did you get on? What was everyone like off stage?
People like Barton and Hopkins always end up going to war with the mainstream media as deep down they wish they were part of it but they just weren't quite talented enough to make it. They can't bear the fact that there are others who have more exposure than them and they become embittered about it. The bitterness then becomes a vehicle for them to obtain more attention which is all the poor souls really want.
Honestly I think his whole hatred of female commentators is pure jealousy on his part because they have a job he would want. It's also pretty misogynistic and hateful.
Is it a coincidence that he makes that comment about a group of players that are all people of colour and compares them to a rapper? Would he of said it about the Kane, Rice and Maguire? I think the dog whistle is quite strong on this one.
