He came through our academy and had his best years with us so expect the ex City tag. I don’t mind him, kept us up with important performances. Signed a new contract with a £5M release clause rather than leave for nothing as he knew we were fucked.

Seems quite switched on but can’t control his temper when provoked.

I like to think he went off against QPR on purpose, I would have done the same to make it look less obvious.
