Change was definitely needed on Sky because womens football has taken off massively over the last 10 years. My cousin is a football coach for a womens team and his girls are also players. It's great for them because 20 years ago there was no such thing as a girls team. It's important that they get to see women on things like Sky because it makes them feel included.

Either way I don't know why anyone is arsed, I don't know about anyone else but I would much rather hear from younger people like Micah or Alex Scott than biased has beens like Phil Thompson or Charlie Nicholas.

As for companies I don't know, in our workplace there is generally a mixture of men of all races however there are far fewer women. The reason for that is perhaps because we're an engineering company and women generally don't go into engineering in as greater numbers as men.

As you say none of this is really a woke issue, it's just about reflecting reality.

I see women's football like strictly come dancing. Tell people how popular something is and sell it like mad and it become an accepted reality.
