I wonder if Wolfsburg said "It's the Czech league guys" before they took a punt on your boy who had scored 13 goals in 30 games (compared to 19 in 20 for Guidetti at a younger age, in a better league)?

Glad to hear City plan to implement him, although it may mean curtains for someone else, be it Tevez or...

people want guidetti in the city team and are saying he can be a replacement for one of the current strikers

i don't see it at all, i think it's hard to judge if you are scoring in the dutch league...would have been better if he was loaned in the prem or bundesliga

We've played nearly the entire season with 3 strikers when Mancini always wants 4. This means at times we've had to play like Aguero twice in a few days when Mancini might have wanted to rest him.

And the Chelsea game for example we used four strikers in one game. So Guidetti will be replacing an invisible man next season considering we haven't HAD a fourth option (I won't say fourth choice as it's obvious our club doesn't work that way... could anyone determine who our 3rd choice striker has been this season for example?) for most of this.

If Tevez does stay (unlikely but not impossible) I could see him dropping deeper into a Rooney-esque role meaning we could play 3 of our strikers per game regularly if needed. His long pass to Dzeko towards the end of the Stoke game was sublime and he can also run at players from deep as he likes to.

you never gonna know how good someone is until ther given a chance, the dutch league has produced loads of great players van nisterooy, sneijder, vertonghan, he will be a striker at city next season

i can se us having maybe Aguero, balotelli, Dzeko ? , Guidetti

I do rate him, i was just saying alot of his goals are pens and defence isn't the dutch leagues strong point

Mancini wants him back anyway so looks like he's going to be 4th striker

I think Mancini wants him back for pre-season. And if Guidetti impresses, then maybe he will be involved.

But whatever happens now, next season won't be the time to blood in youngsters. Unless they really are top class.

I don't mean to rain down on everyone's parade but I would estimate half of the great goal-scorers in the Dutch league cannot emulate their form on a more competitive stage.

Remember Jô scored goals in the Russian league for fun but we all know how that ended.

I would like to see him play in the Premier League on loan but based on what he is saying that doesn't look likely to happen, so I hope we see him in action during pre-season.

Remaining fixtures for Feyenoord, they only play 2 of the current top 6, and the AZ game (Current league leaders) is at home. It seems a lot of them are around the relegation area so that could either work in their favour or against them.

Would love for Guidetti to come back with a winners medal, they all look like relatively winnable games.

Yeah, and he's 19 years of age. Better scoring record than RvP in the same league at the same age. Ronaldo has scored 24 pens in his Real Madrid career and ten of them in the league this year, but he's one of the best around, means fuck all.
