Swedish press did an interview with him surrounding this whole thing, he seems really level-headed for such a young guy.

I'll have a go at translating parts of the article.

Swedish teammate shocked over bus attack
Manchester City-star Emmanuel Adebayor is unhurt after the attack. But teammate John Guidetti was shocked to hear the news about the tragedy in Angola:
- Is that true? That's very said to hear, the City-Swede told Sportbladet.

Guidetti, 17, is already in his second season at City. But growing up he spent several years in Africa, in Kenyan capital Nairobi.
He has stated that he would wish to live in Africa once his career is over and took the news about the shooting badly:
- It's terrible. Africa is such a nice place and it's easy for people to believe this sort of thing happens everywhere when people do this.

How was it like for you to live in Kenya?
- Nothing bad ever happened to me there. It was nothing unusual for me to live there.

Guidetti stresses how sad the incident is, especially for the involved players. But he's also thinking about how it could affect the view on the entire African continent:
- People are opening their eyes to Africa now in connection to the world cup, and something like this happens. It's easy for people to believe this is what all of Africa is like but of course that's not true, Africa is a big place.
