John Guidetti

Hopefully he can play with the team preseason and perhaps even a little during the transfer window to see if we can get a PL loan for the guy, if we managed that and he got games I reckon we'd have a good striker on our hands.

Can anyone who's seen him play tell us his play style? From the video all I got is, he can shoot.

He didn't. Samaras' record in Holland: 30 goals in 110 games. His goalscoring record wasn't much worse for us really, he's just a crap player.

Guidetti is a top talent who we beat a lot of big clubs to and who a lot of big clubs like Arsenal are watching now in the event we don't give him a chance. He's already worth £5m+ at the age of 19. He has about the same amount of goals as Luuk de Jong, who Liverpool may be about to pay £10m or so to sign. Most importantly beyond value is that he keeps improving.

Agreed Samaras was shit. But in Holland his record was nearly 1 in 3, (don't know where you got your figures from, although they may be right!).
