John Hartson (MERGED)

Re: John Hartson

Doesn't sound good for the guy. SSN reporting from his doctors announcement that he first went in to hospital with symptoms of testicular cancer and this has spread to his brain.

Just heard, this is really awful news 34 year old ffs.

Hopefully he can make a recovery although it reaching the brain doesn't sound to good.

/sigh

Sorry to be all doom and gloom - my brother had a brain tumour. The doctors said you were more likely to survive a brain tumour if it started there. And least likely if it spread from elsewhere

Hope you can fight it JH

Re: John Hartson

Sad news, 34 is far too young.

Good luck to him.

It's a poignant reminder we should all give our goolies an once-over on a regular basis

Re: John Hartson

Just like to wish him and his family well at this terrible time and hope he makes a full recovery from such a traumatic and tragic illness.
I should know! :(

Re: John Hartson

To put a positive spin on this guys - Lance Armstrong had the same problem but let it get even further along. he had it in the testes, stomach and brain but he survived. Testicular cancer is one of the success stories. 30 years ago 95% died of it and now 98% survive so there is a fair chance he will be ok.
