Thommo is usually OK about us. Merson, on the other hand, is always a complete knob.
 
Salako was very balanced when they were discussing us on "Soccer Saturday" on, err, Friday.

Cotey beleives without any hesitation that Hull will finish above us and Jeff Stelling tried as hard as he could to get every member of the panel to say we were going to get relegated.

Its not until you listen to what every single pundit says about your own club that you realise they dont have a clue about any club they're speaking about!

They basically regurgatate media articles and rumours heard from mates, like that annoying bastard in every pub up and down the country ;-)
 
I can guarantee Thommo won't be that nice about us when we start challenging the big boys.

No more biased commentator in the game, we will be the enemy.

Always has been for some reason???

I would love to see his league table in the Sun after the results he picks

salako isn t a city fan, he was just explaining the obvious to the other knobs on the panel and that is,with the money we ve got, sooner or later we re going to get it right, trophies on the way, i m convinced,if not just keep throwing money at it until we do...dont listen to fergiescum saying money wont buy anything, look at him, ferdinand £30m, rooney £30m (not got a clue why ), veron £28m, berbatov £30m...lots of others too, i could be here all night, no boys most of them are worried because they know our era is almost upon us, expect a rough ride in the press, but fuck em
 
John Salako is a legend! He defended us when the other 3 on the Soccer Saturday panel tried to rip us to shreds yesterday. Top bloke.
 
Didnt see it on Saturday as I was at the game, but Stelling is the worst of the lot.

Every week he tries to put words in the mouths of pundits about how crap City are, how the Arabs are buying the players etc.

It sounds like Solako was the first sensible pundit on there for a while !
