i know what your saying and that its just guess work but i don't think either of those two would be great in those positions....Ottomendi is just too rash in the challenge and his distribution isn't good enough and I though Mangala defensively could play left back....he would offer nothing going forward from what I've seen (which i think is what Pep likes in his fullbacks)

I agree with your thoughts on Otamendi. DM/Pivot is so important to Pep...I can't see him putting that much responsibility on Otamendi's shoulders.
 
Its not an important factor in analysing them is it. Otherwise Unsworth is an all time great and Baresi is average

Not really you're right I was looking at denayer stats and his and that just stood out still don't rate him but like I said if Pep wants him what will be will be...
 
No. Tottenham showed the way this season. Lots of young players there and they would have won the title if they hadn't had such a slow start.

Yep, the key to having success with younger players or any players is to have a top coach. Spurs had that this season and we'll have it next season.

I'm focusing more on the defence. Spurs have an experienced defence. Laporte, Stones, Denayer wouldn't be.
