I think a deal where it's something like £25m + £20m in bonuses is more than fair enough for someone who could go either way on the potential spectrum. Anything over £40m is taking the piss for someone whose had such a poor season.

I stand by the comment about his complete lack positional awareness, and desire to see us give Denayer a chance, but I was premature, he went on to have a good game.
That said, I'm sticking to my guns. The lad is overrated and isn't worth the gamble at the kind of money Everton would demand for him.

Neverton wlll be thinking the opposite, though, pretty much.I think it will take a Sterling type offer to get this done......If we dont get this done in the next 10days (which i dont think will happen) and he has a good euro's....I expect it will take a £45mil offer to get him signed....which is why its worth our business done early or we risk adding a few mil extra to every targets asking price...
