You mean besides the three we've already completed?

Edit: possibly 5 if Moreno and Rulli are done but not announced yet.

Yeah but other than the 5 deals he's already completed, and the 2 which are apparently just getting i's dotted and t's crossed, bringing our spending to over £150m - what's he done all summer?

I assume some of our deals take what is perceived to be a long time due either us making space in the squad or the other team setting up a replacement for our target

Stones didn't move club and then perform shit, and also has age on his side. Didn't most of the everton squad under perform last year...hence the sacking of martinez?

Anyway you said that not me :P

Exactly. He was settled & shit.

Bony started the season ill, under a shit manager in a disinterested unfit uninspired team.

Everton fans want full value for their player but ours are willing to give Bony away.

I just don`t understand the bitching that Txiki gets at times on here.None of us have any ideas as to why some transfers take time and as another poster said the other day,you don`t rush through when buying a house as the contracts and whats like take weeks and sometimes months to sort out. This isn`t a bloody £1M deal and Everton may not want to sell until they have a replacement in.If the shoe was on the other foot we`d soon be on here telling the buying club to fuck off and wait.
The lad wants to come,it appears that Everton want (reluctantly) to do business and at least by the end of August it will be done and dusted. If it takes that long, then so be it.Better to have late, than not at all.

Its easy just pay what every club want for there players and pay the player and his agent what they want! Piss easy

Two perfectly reasonable assumptions but I wonder if another possible is that the selling club puts a date on when the final bids will be accepted. Highest bidder at the close on that date is allowed to close the deal, if the player accepts & the club doesn't change their mind.

I wonder if we have done something like that with Kolarov, Zabba etc.

Therefore some deals would be much later than others, whatever happens & some might fall through at the death allowing Harry Redknapp to step in.
