If I'm counting right adding Kompany, Stones and Sane to that squad would give us the 21 player c/l squad plus Denayer, Garcia, Adarabioyo, Maffeo and Angelino.
Leaving Mangala, Otamendi, Nasri and Bony as surplus.

Im sure they were left behind, because they are working on match fitness. Bony we presume going to toffeeland

I can't see him ditching both Otamendi & Mangala in one window & I don't think it would be clever if he did. Anyone watching Barca v Leicester & Liverpool should note how PL teams need treating with respect.

I think it's probably for another reason that they aren't travelling, or at least one of them. Fitness/injury related perhaps.

I'm pretty sure we need to only loose 2 as it stands for the prem league. Bony and mangala? Maybe nasri? If stones came it wouldn't effect anything. I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure

Last time I looked it was only a couple for Prem purposes.

For the premier league I think you're right but I don't see anybody in the squad that would be happy being told they weren't in the C/L squad , I can't see us having different squads.

I agree mate...someone mentioned Ota went back to Spain a few days ago for a medical appointment, so think he must be carrying an injury! If Ota is not going to be fit for the start of the season, even more reason to include Mangala....unless he not in Pep's plans?
