Hardly cutting edge ITK stuff that though is it? Mourinho badly wanted him at Chelsea and will do the same at the rags. But if we seriously want to get Stones and pay the money we probably will have to then I think it's a no-brainer for Stones to join us with Pep.

Good call. Doesn't have Moore's timing on that last ditch tackle (but it's harder to do that these days) and he has time on his side. The way he defends and passes out of defence is made for Pep. Please get him.

Smalling has regressed a bit over the last 12 months. He was very good for a couple of seasons before that.
Can't quite make my mind up on Stones yet. Suffice to say I probably rate him a bit more than you. Ha!

More shit defending on display from this clown tonight. Getting drawn out wide and leaving an enormous gulf in the heart of the defence, the Aussies only prevented from getting a one v one because Smalling reacted quickly and managed to intercept.

Really think this lad is a fraud. Zero positional sense or awareness of danger.

I'd be genuinely gutted if we spunked £45m on this mug and left Denayer in the shadows.

confident on the ball and defended well....the value of a player is only what a team is willing to pay for him and if Pep feels thats 45mil...then thats fine with me...Laporte might end up cheaper and easier to sign as he has the 39mil release clause but think both/either Stones or Laporte would be an upgrade on Mangala and would improve the team...
