Just to clarify, what is this about Terry not going into training? Presumably, the media would have been hanging around since this morning hoping to catch a glimpse. Was he there or not?

Its dead quite, you wouldve thought the media wouldve been all over it like a rash if he wasnt there. You wouldve also thought that SSN wouldve been wanking off if hed rocked up ready to train with the rest of the sqaud declaring "TERRY SNUBS CITY". Interesting to say the least.

He was at Cobham today. Not sure if he trained, but he was in the training ground.

I did see footage of him training on Sky News with the new training kit on, though, so I presume he trained.

Brian Swanson on SSN now says everyone at Chelsea "absolutely convinced" he will remain at Chelski!
Hard to fathom really. How can you be 'absolutely convinced' when they said earlier this week he was going nowhere!

don't listen to a thing that cat-arse mouthed prick says.

Gents (and any ladies) I am not going to speculate or post something I cannot back up...if I did, they'd be folks getting excited, reading too much into it, take tomorrow off to see what happens, throwing their weekly wage on a bet etc etc and then trying to hound me out of town. Trust me...when I am unsure of stuff I have heard...I double check first. If the person I check with says yeah...I post...if they say nope...I file it away as a rumour.

Many thanks URG....Mums the word ;)

Lose lips sink ships and all that!

Webster ruling: any player who signed a contract before the age of 28 can buy himself out of the contract three years after the deal was signed. If he is 28 or older the time limit is shortened to two years.

So when did he sign his last contract detectives???

so that rule cant be used then, seen as he has three years left on his contract

Nothing to do with the time left on the contract... it's about the length served of the contract. Still think it's a no go anyway.

I understand that but the maximum contract you can sign is for five years so if he signed in 07 this would only be his second, or more to the point not his third season

I thought we got rid of this nonsense yesterday... It said in the rules that he would have had to have let Chelsea know 3 weeks BEFORE the season ended.... Not happening this way, unless its a threat for next year...

Barryo will already be there :-)
he can provide the lemonade or horlicks, either one it doesn't bother me.

I am listening to Talk Shite. It is not as rag-infested as SSN. They haven't discussed the matter specifically, but every time some one makes a passing reference to the Terry thing, they seem to be saying that Chelski are struggling to keep him. I don't think they're basing this on concrete information. They're just reading between the lines and, unlike Swanson and Co, they are not bending over backwards to deny the possibility of a move.
