Yeah does anyone know the betting odds for this now? I'm guessing they have gone a little in Chelsea's favour last night after Ancelotti said JT would commit to Chelsea in the following week.

Fulhamroad22 do you really believe anything that comes out ancelottis mouth?

I believe he isn't stupid enough to set himself up for a massive fall soon after joining by saying he expects Terry to stay without having it on very good authority that this will be the case!

I'm starting to think you could be right about this, coz Ancelotti is going to look like one enormous tool now if Terry signs for City. Ah well, I'm pleased we had a good go for it, and I'm pleased that we've reached the stage where someone as previously untouchable as Terry, has clearly had to think long and hard before turning us down. I'm not totally giving up though until I hear the words from the man himself!

fulhamroad,

As I said yesterday, you are merely trying to make yourself feel better. Ancelotti is gifted in the art of bullshit. Take his comments about him staying at Milan, 100%. It's all a pantomime with postering going on by all sides. I think the poster that pointed out Lampard's statement hit the nail on the head, he would not have made those comments by chance or off the cuff. He is aware that every word will be scrutinised by the media and the fans alike. It's quite simple really, Terry hasn't committed either way so until then it's in the balance for both clubs. Howerver much we speculate and analyse will not make the slightest difference, nor will anything anybody else says for that matter either negative for you (Lampard), or postive for you (Ancelotti)

ancelotti also stated that he would 100% be Milans Manager this year not so long ago. Im not saying we will get him just that ancelotti has form for towing the party line

Ancelotti has history of saying "100% staying" only to do the opposite days and weeks later. He also lied about not meeting Chelsea

Gotta love all that postering.

Yeah I know Ancelotti is a reknowned liar, but my feeling are so many statements have been made by people that happen to be so in depth rather than an off the cuff remark that I'm starting to believe him in this case. When he first said JT 100% staying I didn't believe him, but now I think it is too elaborate to not have some truth in it.

I still don't completely believe him, though. It's just looking a lot like JT will stay which I think will actually benefit City to be honest as there are better centre backs and leadership can be developed from within.
