This is my first post on the board so be gentle with me.

After hearing this news I thought I just had to post!

I live in London and just bumped into a senior Chelsea official who is very recognisable. I started talking to him about our club and he told me that the Terry deal was a done deal in his eyes. Terry has already annoyed some of the Chelsea staff by wanting this move and has told them he is coming to Man City for 300k per week!! He wants to bring his own staff with him and has asked for a team to escort him to manchester. The guy I spoke to said it extremely likely Terry will join in the next few days as he can't turn the soert of money we are offering down.

f*** him, if he leaves, let man city get 4th place next season and hopefully we win epl and ucl, and then next season i hope we get first in epl and beat man city in the ucl final after terry misses a penalty, but this is only if all this news about terry being unhappy at chelsea is true, there is a big possibility its just bs

This mornings news has upset Chelsea fans - they are just stating let him go

with nearly al the papers running the terry story i think they know now that there is something in this! football is fickle, its a defence mechanism to say "let him go" its just a natural reaction, still funny tho! talksport just mentioned eto'o to the rags did you hear that?

Yes heard about Etoo to Rags but they also said Ribery for £40mil to them so just rumours I think.

But if he does and we get Terry - How many goals did Etoo score playing against Terry and he even had Messi giving him the balls so we have no worries if we get JT

agreed! JT isn't everyones cup of tea but he's proven time and time again he can handle the worlds best! i wonder if he's spoken to capello about moving ? must have just to make sure it wouldn't effect his england captaincy! i think if he came to us he'd be better prepared for the world cup, our fixtures wont be so crammed together cuz of no europe, so he'll have more recovery time with us!

...just curious that you say 'after hearing this news....' so it doesn't sound like first-hand posting. Any elaboration for us please or am I mis-reading the syntax ?

Look you guys.

I have seen all the ITK on this site and I would be sceptical if I were you.

This discussion happened yesterday and I have no reason to lie.

Apparently Terry has told everyone at Chelsea he is going to Man City. Maybe he is using us for a pay increase but thats what I was told.

His staff I got the impression were the general people who run around with him.

For me if Terry comes its great, he is a leader on the pictch and will raise the profile of the club. Eventually we will not have to pay these silly fees as the top players will want to come to our winning club it just takes time.
