I appreciate some of the ITK's comments on JT today, however, the Guardian are saying this tonight:

The club have resigned themselves to John Terry staying at Chelsea, despite being led to believe for most of last season that the England captain wanted, at the very least, to hear of their plans. However, they believe they have the financial muscle to make Everton back down over the proposed transfer of Joleon Lescott, even if it might cost around £20m.

Last paragraph of the above link.

Going to be a long summer. Seems things are changing on an almost hourly basis! I don't think any one can rule out whether x player will be moving to us or not. Money talks and if we put the right offer in and manage to speak to the player concerned then who knows?

I really think Terry would turn a lot of people against us, I'd rather we made our own captain.

Does the gaurdian know more than our ITK's .............. you've already answered that question....now shut up

Who knows, but baring in mind there hasnt been loads about this in the press, is it not a bit of a co-incidence its printed on the same day our ITKs hear something?

Agreed ...... dont want Terry

Barry for captain next season

It's not like Barry came here for any other reason then the money though. Not that I mind it's a really good signing. But wasn't he only going to a club with chumps league football 10 months ago?

If we start to shy away from signings because were worried what others think then we might as well give up now.
