Johnny Marr - autumn UK tour

Johnny Marr is one of my favourite guitarists even though I don't like the smiths particularly (a couple of songs are ok) but i've seen him twice recently at Parklife and Glasto and his solo stuff is shit. I don't know why good guitarists always lower themselves by releasing a solo album, it's so drab, slow and depressing AND he cant sing.
