Cheers for the heads up MES, I was only looking on his website yesterday and there were no details then. I'd probably have left it another week before checking back and missed out!

Talk about don't meet your heroes

Met him a few months back and he was a bit of a t**t

I had a very different experience to be honest. Met him the day after we won the title and he was dead nice, chatty and gave me one of his plectrums. Top bloke, guitar genius, City fan.

Met him after his lecture at Salford Uni a few years back, had my picture taken with him, had a brief chat, he was happy to sign autographs for others (not my thing to be honest!) including someone's guitar. Didn't have to be there, could have gone straight backstage but hung around for a while instead.
I've met Johnny, Mike and Andy..... all top blokes.

Met all 4. Have to say Mike Joyce was the the easiest to chat to (He was outside the Parkside with his Dad on matchday).

Mozza was probably the hardest work.

Might do the Ritz. Bring back a few memories of wild Monday & Wednesday nights in my yoof.
