ive only been to a dozen home games in 2011/12 (part time gloryhunter for 47 years now) and i have never heard a blue refer to lescott as star trek / klingon , and if some one did refer to lescott , i would fucking give them shit. Bang out of order and it is doesnt need repeating on here by a so called fucking city fan. Lescott nearly lost his life as a five year old due to his head injuries , and if you take the piss out of one of our own players , who has had an unfortunate injury , then your not a smart arse joker , your just a fucking moron.

I've been going since I was 8..30 years..15 of the last as a ST holder..I've heard a lot worse thrown at our players in that time from the stands so save your soapbox old man

Exactly one of my pals said he protected the starboard bow magnificently this evening. All in jest but some things do get taken to serious on here now and again. To be honest I thought Terry played well tonight and was the better of the two as for going forward England will struggle.

I think your getting mixed up with ref's there mate.

A great cb performance is when they are strong, commanding and can build play from the back. Exactly what Lescott has been doing for us for nearly 2season's now.

Cracking player and has got better and better.

I would say when a centre half has played an outstanding game YOU do notice them.

And that is a perfectly acceptable opinion to have.

Perhaps i should have worded it. If you dont notice the player who the centre half is marking and you dont notice the centre half, he has had a superb game.

I have never liked defenders who dive in and look heroic, it masks deficiencies in there game. My opinion of course.
