The problem with opinions is any idiot can have them.

If you don't like it move to fucking Cuba......

Are there no idiots in Cuba?

Probably but they are perhaps not allowed to express their opinions in a dictatorship..... The only good thing is that everyone is ENTITLED to an opinion, even if deemed to be bullshit by someone else....

Not heard that one... swap deal?

If fit Jolean & Komps would've played every game together, this season, for me. cant understand why Mancini has taken against him so badly.

Watch a recording of last season's home game against QPR. At approx 47mins.

I was there, got it on the Sky box but what has this to do with January 2013?

Just my opinion, but I think that was the moment when Mancini decided he would replace Lescott.

Bloody hell if we replace every player who makes a mistake we'll need a conveyor belt running through the ground.

I'm happy with either Nastasic or Lescott alongside VK. For me Mancini has been a bit harsh on Lescott but I can see why he has been, and I think we'll reap the benefits from the matches Nastasic has played so far. Please that Lescott is prepared to hang around even if he's no longer a guaranteed starter.

There's no surprise that we look stronger as a team and we've not conceded a goal (only 2 games so far) with Vinny and Lescott at the back.

Shouldn't really be any debate as to our current starting CBs.

Total lunacy imo

Kompanys form had been patchy till early december, i'd say Nasty, 19, has carried him somewhat - if you're thinking about short term then lescott is still a great fit, however the vinny-nasty partnership will be there for the next 5/6 years, getting that gelling as early as possible will reap greater rewards down the line.

I think part of that drop in form has been the new partnership, Vinny has been far more aggressive and found himself caught up the pitch trying to break play down early with Nastasic alongside him as opposed to Lescott.

I think Lescott reads the game better at this stage, is stronger, better in the air. He's done nothing to warrant the apparent freezing out he's had this season.

This isn't an attack on Nastasic either, by all means blood him into the team, but i think we'd have been better off continuing the partnership of Lescott and Kompany this season.

Flaw to his game, and one which doesn't fit with a Mancini defender.... being able to distribute or bring the ball out, Nasty is already showing how comfortable he is at this. I agree about the aerial comparison but strongly disagree with regards to the reading of the game, especially at the very top level, in my opinion Nasty is light years ahead of Lescott in that area!!

Lescott's lack of ability with the ball at his feet is his major stumbling block when it comes to the style Mancini would like us to play and Nastasic is much more comfortable. For what it's worth I think the away game at Ajax was the turning point for the Mancini/Lescott relationship.
