He's been around for a long time. No one has ever made a punt for him. City would be a huge opportunity, not a chance he turns it down to join someone like Fulham on a free.

Would be perfect.

His contract is up in June, so he is probably available for very little, good goal-scoring record, is versatile, and can play as a false nine.

He fills that Alvarez role that we have been missing all year very well

Low risk signing if he’s only got 6 months left. Shouldn’t cost too much, right age, very consistent goal scorer and should take some pressure off Haaland. Smart move if we go through with it.

Would love a move for Alphonso Davies too. Could finally get an actual left back.

Currently in the 2 "striker spots" we only have Haaland, Foden and KdB.

KdB is never fit and getting old, meaning we have 0 rotation options for Haaland or Foden.

Players like David or Nkunku, fit this well, being both the striker back up and 10 back up (Like Alvarez) means he will get LOADS of game time.
