jonno and zabba sign new deals

So pleased for Zaba, couldn't find a better man to have around the squad and I think he really does love it here.

Please for AJ too, I think if he takes on board what Mancini has to say he is going to make great strides in the next couple of years and be a much more complete player.
 
Tbh I'm more made up over the Zabba signing than the AJ one.

Every good team needs those top level squad players that can come in and do a good (if not exceptional) job. The fact Zabba is cover for RB, LB, DM and possibly Right Midfield makes him a fantastic option on the subs bench. I'm prety sure he'll still see his fair share of starts as well rotating in RB with Micah to keep them both fresh and match fit.

I hate to liken him to scum players but I can see Zabba being our equivalent of Wes Brown or John O'Shea for a long time to come. Probably not often the first choice but someone we can rely on to come into the team, give 100%, not moan about being on the subs bench and the team not being appreciably weaker when he plays.

Maybe not a headline signing but I consider him to be one of our key squad players.
 
Great news, now for NDJ and Vinnie. Really pleased that Zabba has signed and I hope when he finishes his career(hopefully with us) that he is given a role on the coaching staff. If not coaching then as a mentor to the EDS kids. He is the perfect role model for young players.
 
I get the impression that Pab Zab signed the new deal a milli-second after it being offered to him, with no counter-offer, or any form of negotiation whatsoever! The guy absolutely loves City and we love him back.
 
Very happy with this news, AJ has the ability to become one of the top wide players in Europe over the course of that contract if he keeps working hard under the guidance of Roberto. Zaba is a fantastic player to have around the squad, can play a number of position's to a very good level and genuinely loves the club.
