I can't recall a more ballsy manager than Pep and that is not a negative, this decision seems to have had as big a negative reaction as his decision on Hart and he has to have heard it like last time but I get the feeling he will stick to how he sees it. Experienced cover that can organise our back line is better than none at all, we wanted Bonucci but he obviously wanted to stay in his homeland so fair play to him. So assuming Evans is finalised, defensively we have vastly improved:

Ederson > Bravo
Walker > Zaba
Danilo > Sagna
Mendy > Clichy
Evans > Kola

Not perfect, paid a fortune as well but I would have snapped anyone's hand off for that at the start of the window.

When you line it up as you have, there's nothing left to argue about. We've upgraded from last season, & maximised the vast funds we had available and there maybe more yet. Job almost done!
