I didn't think this transfer could be any more tragic but if £30m is true then it takes the fucking piss.

I would like to point out that that £30mil will be with all potential add-ons and all his wages plus whatever pocket money we give him when he comes abroad with us, as is tradition with our transfers.

Ive come to the conclusion that City dont care about money
I think we will pay 30 mill for JFE and about 60 for Sanchez
Both players will be worthless after 4 years
But that doesnt seem to bother anybody on the City Board
How we get round FFP Iv no idea

One of them will be worthless as soon as he signs ;-)
 
In recent history I can't think of one washed up rag I would pay 30mill for withe the exception of ronaldo but JFE

Don't worry about ffp, uefa wouldn't dare ban us with JFE at the club, they need the best player's in the CL..
 
Surely our world class coaches could make Mangala a better option than JFE
He has the physique, the strength and we paid 40 mill for him so he must have a modicum of talent
Why pay another 30 mill for a reject, who's real worth is what WBA paid, about 6 mill
Has Mangers upset somebody?
 
The market is inflated & we are paying prob over double what he is worth.
I think there are better defenders for the £ in Europe that have more talent. I have tbh I have my doubts..
BUT he fills a home quota, has alot of experience especially in the Prem & we lack leaders at the back. There is only Kompany who fills that role if he gets injured we can forget about winning the league.
We have to trust the manager its his job on the line not ours. Pep is clearly thinking he is a leader & we can maybe rest Komps too in certain games to prevent injuries/burnout. Also the left cb role in the back 3 could be a weak link with either Mangala or Nico there. Pep maybe thinks he will give us balance? Let's see how it pans out before we condemn the signing. Who gives a fuck what Rags say anyway?! They r gobshites whatever happens always have been in my 30 years watching City & always will be!
Ultimately Pep knows more about footy than me, you or dare I say anyone on this or any footy forum let's trust the bloke
