Nope, we need a centre back that can organise a defence in Kompanys absence, Otamendi and Stones can't do it, and neither would a young centre half. Evans can. Next summer we'll replace Otamendi with a younger centre back.

However I dont expect you to agree so perhaps we should agree to disagree and wait for the next time he is picked (Pep will give him chance after chance) and see if his confidence has been restored and he can perform to his ability at PL games.

You must have missed a bit, "in Kompanys absence" unless you're expecting Kompany to play 60 plus games.

That's only my guess to be fair, it might also depend on Kompanys fitness this year. I just think next summer we will replace Toure and Fernandinho in C.M and bring in a centre back as well for somebody. Evans is a Kolarov replacement no more than that.
