Would prefer Mangala to stay but i think Evans would be a decent back up.

This thread is fucking hilarious reading all the bollocks spouted out.

Yours wins the bollocks of the year post. Evans and Mangala? CL win written all over that then....either together or as a replacement.

Don't know why anyone cares about his United background. No one was arsed about it with Cooke, Schmeichel, Cole, Tevez etc once they pulled on a blue shirt.

I think it's decent for us if it's a decent price and we have funds for Sanchez. On that not are you hearing anything on Sanchez Ric?

Probably looking at the home grown element and his Prem league experience. Would rather send toshin out for a good season or 2 experience and have Evans on the bench. Then again save the money and keep Mangala

The latest being an £18m bid.

Can't imagine we'll want to go higher/much higher than £20m for him but the interest in him appears to be solid.

What is clear is that we are so desperate for this centre back signing to be home grown, that we must be seriously pursuing 2 foreign players given the squad quotas.

I'd prefer Mangala to stay. But if Pep wants Evans as a decent back up. Thats fine with me.

So you mouth foamers are directing all your bollocks towards Pep, If indeed we are in for Evans.

I bet you any money that we play 433 more often than we play 3 at the back this season.

For the record we created two absolutely glorious chances which Kun/Jesus fluffed in the first 20 minutes of the Brighton game. So I don't agree with your assessment at all. I also remember Pep saying often last season that we missed too many chances early in games and that made things more difficult later on.

I hope you are right with regards 4-3-3 as its my favoured line up and one I have been vocal about on this forum in the Girona thread.

Torrent has spoken openly about this in the past and how a Pep side scores more frequently in the second half when teams tire and space is not filled allowing the team to exploit.

No doubt Pep would love an early goal but the way we play with regards possession later goals as players tire is a natural byproduct of the system.
