Of course all managers / directors of football make mistakes. However Txici has made quite a few regarding defenders since he arrived. Playing this current 3-5-2 system seems to exclude Sane and sterling from the side which takes a lot of our attacking threat away. I still dont think he has found his best team / system which I find frustrating. People say he is asking the players to play multiple systems and be flexible during the game. I would rather get a way of playing sorted first. As it looks like the players are unsure and its damaging their confidence.
With the benefit of hindsight, I can confirm Pep realised the mistake of not having a genuine left back as back up to Mendy, as Mendy seems to have made a more miraculous recovery than Lazarus!

BUT, like I've been saying, Pep has learned from his mistake & is continuing to learn an adapt to the toughest league in the world, which is no mean feat..... Again with the benefit of hindsight, as Wenger how tough & unforgiving this league is, even for its longest serving manager, never mind one who took over a totally broken team a little over 12 months ago.

Seems a bit bizarre,if true.

Though tracked hard by Inter Milan, French international centre-back Eliaquim Mangala (26), likely to leave Manchester City again, is in talks on a trade to West Bromwich Albion, possibly in a swap involving Jonny Evans' move on the other way around. Former Standard Liège, Porto, and Valencia player's annual salary request amounts to nearly 4 million euros.
