Spot on mate. We are extremely light in cm in terms of a ball winner and someone who dictates play. Gundogan was a top player but he's not coming back as good or better from the injuries he's had. Against the top sides we will lose the midfield battle imo. Doesn't matter what level of football it is winning the midfield battle is key. To have possession you need to win the ball and I don't think we have enough ball winners in our midfield.Yaya isn't a holding midfielder so that isn't even relevant. It seems woefully stupid to have mountains of attacking midfielders who can't even score according to some but have one guy in dinho responsible for any sort of protection. Look at the pre match posts full of people picking the goalie 2 centre backs then trying to shoehorn every attacker we have into the team. And on top of that they want us to sign 2 more attacking players.
