Just for PR purpose it wouldn't look good them signing Sanchez on the same day we sign JFE.

I suggest a short postponement, 5 or 6 years should do it.if he wants out elsewhere it's a risk we're going to have to take.

See my post above yours - I think that would be a mistake.

We pay sensibly for a player we need. United pay ludicrously for someone they really don't.

I think that this emphasises that point nicely.

As will how the next few months pan out.

Evans will thrive under Pep. Sanchez wither under Mourinho.

Anyone read Mike Doyle's autobiography? I'm sure loads of Blues on here have. There's a strange passage in it about when he nearly signed for United. It was the most unlikely move ever because as everyone knows he hated United with a passion - and was extremely vocal about his hatred in the press whenever he got the chance. And yet it seemed he was prepared to sign for them - someone had pissed him off at City at the time I think. Anyway it got kiboshed of course, I think he just got walked into a room at Maine Road and was told by a senior staff member, "No Mike, this isn't happening!"

I just feel like something similar should happen here with this proposed transfer - it just isn't right and shouldn't be entertained IMO!

I never thought I would see the day when a City supporter would write a sentence that included the phrase "pay sensibly" in relation to 30,000,000 for Evans the world has gone mad.

As a supporter of a team we do tend to see things through the glasses of our club, but even I am laughing my ass off at that one

I agree although I think it should be 10 years just to be safe.

not neciessarily, as is evident here, fb, twitter and in the pub, not many blues want evans, and we already have a lack of a boo boy figure, every mistake will be groaned at (something we do well even with players we like).

Sanchez will want to prove a point, and unlike at the arse where he has been disinterested will still perform even under blakeys shite football.

It says £20 million above. That is. And I trust the manager to know who he can mould into a great asset to the side. He has surely earned that respect for his judgement. Who any player played for is less important than what they can do in this squad.

West Brom wanted 35m in the summer what makes you think with 18months left on his contract and Arsenal also sniffing around all of a sudden it would drop by 15m?
