I've got no opinion on Jonny Evans because he's an ex rag. But the hysteria in this thread is a bit OTT.

The reality is we're looking for a 4th choice CB to come in and cover. It's hardly a position which is going to see tons of game time. People need to relax and not be so emotional.

He would cost close to £20m in today's market. If he's our number one choice for centre back, I would rather see us keep Mangala and focus on a defensive midfielder and forward.
