I can't understand why people are against this signing because he played for the scum. He isn't the first we have signed from them and won't be the worst. My own view is that I just see this as another signing like Rodwell, Sinclair etc. Basically a squad filler who won't improve us overall.

This is my problem,having everyone behind the ball means he has no real spaces to worry about,with us a high line offensive team,plenty of space to defend..i'm having nightmares already

That is the only reason I can think off. We are allowed four homegrown players who aren't club trained in the CL. We have three in Walker, Sterling and Stones. With the probability Delph is leaving then we have room for one more.
