Entitled, self important, look at me bollocks.
If the management started to listen to the fans we'd be well fucked.
Most ridiculous thing I've ever read on BM.

The fans ARE the club. Without us, there is no Manchester City FC.

Other than that, you can please fans as well as running a successful club. It's not a case of one or the other!

and what sort of a given name is bamber anyway.
then again, his father was the brigadier-general sir orby gascoigne.

the only other first-named bamber i can think of is bamber boozler,
the ch.4 teletext virtual host of

(and he was likely called it as a pisstake of gascoigne)

Haha bamboozle that's a blast from the past

Some people are moaning because he's an ex rag, though they'll no doubt deny it, even to themselves. But I say, who cares? Remember Denis Law, not Terry Cooke.

I'm not happy because I don't believe he's good enough... nothing to do with past clubs. Although I can see other being pissed as he is a self confessed Utd fan rather than just an ex player.
If he was decent enough there would be other clubs lining up to try to sign him like VvD as an example. It's just not a signing that fills me with confidence or excitement.

Brian Kidd was'nt too shabby

Sign someone left field, not on everyone else's radar and 'theyre not good enough'. But when other clubs do that, its 'how come other clubs can get bargains and we cant? what are are scouts and recruitment team doing?' etc. Or we go in for the currently fashionable player, eg VVD, the price goes up by another 15 mill for City, and people moan why are we spending so much on him. This is the way is seems sometimes - the club just can't win, whatever transfer decisions they make - and thats just from their own fans, never mind all the critics on the outside.

(and anyway, I thought arsenal were in deep for Evans last summer?)

Only this. tbh if he's an ex-rag, and even more especially if he has said he supports them, how much sweeter would it make it if he wins some silverware with us (at their expense)?

Or Carlos Tevez or Sean Goater, I love it when ex rags play well for us.
Law's goal although not as iconic as 93.20 was one of the first moments of my youth, all be it enjoyed vicariously as I wasn't at the match.

Denis did play for City first though. Makes a difference.

This - every day of the week. The current senior management seems to have forgotten that though.
Tonight's security checks will prove that as they are starting to look like an absolute shambles. With little communication to the fans other that the bollocks statement of: "Get to the ground an hour early!" Imagine trying to get to the centre of manchester on a working day before 7pm.

Is he injured? Wasn't in the squad for the last two games.

Anyway madness if we pay anything close to 25-30m for a 29 year old CB with questionable injury history.
