I agree. Offloading Mangala with only 3 weeks to find a suitor and a decent deal isn't ideal. Keep him as fourth choice until the summer and buy then, IMO.

Wrong age, wrong price, not anything like a replacement for Kompany.

Even if we were interested at any point(I'm sceptical that Pep even rates him) it would have only been to save Kompany's legs as he nears closer retirement or if he gets injured but half the seasons gone so where is the value in the deal anymore?... Has Pep ever confirmed there was interest in signing him either? We weren't in for VVD when everyone here was certain we were. Sorry but Evans is not coming to City.
