Found most of it a bit meh this year, and a lot more chat between the acts. The irish novelty act was a bit fun for some 30 seconds on occasion. But beats watching KT Tunstall play her 2 songs from 15 years ago again every year.

As an aside, found Queen of The New Year funny again, worth a watch imo.

I only turned it on seconds before midnight for the Scots Dragoon Guards band and Auld Lang Syne and had to turn it off again at the woman singer!! She was rubbish! I love Auld Lang Syne! Fair ruined my New Year!! I had to resort to singing it myself, not a pretty sound. But the Bailey’s and my mince pie helped. :-) :-)








It didn’t ruin my New Year that was a joke but I did have to turn it off.

Got to be the worst line up for a Jools Holland NY show ever. Rod Stewart is such a poor singer these days, his only saving grace was Paul Jones was singing and he was worse, far worse! Ruby Turner now there's a surprise. Sugar Babes were equally abyssmal. Throw in the usual line up of unfunny comedian's, including the ubiquitous Vic Reeves and Jo Brand and it was a recipee for an early night.

Yes, a complete one-off !
Jim Moir and his opportunist missus, however, is on every year.
As is the current singer with Jools' big band.
Jobs for the boys/girls...
