Not tall but I like the way he’s always looking for that killer forward pass. Seems to be good in tight situations. He can tackle and intercept. Good signing I think.

Spot on. If we can acquire his services we will have not 2 but 3 players in the starting eleven thst can thread the ball through the eye of a needle.

Silva, KDB and Jorghino if he decides to come here. 3 players in different areas of the pitch with the ability to do the above.

This guy certainly has an eye for a pass, specially the midrange over the top type.......the only bit i would be concerned with is his seeming lack of a bit of mobility when compared with Ferna. I know this can be made up a lot for with intelligence and positioning (like barry) but our main opponents who we struggle against (teams like Liverpool who press with pace and mobility) he could struggle against......I know that is very few teams but its teams like liverpool and top euro opposition who have those qualities and to get where we want to be (the very top) its teams like those we now have to dominate.

Don't think any of the top European opposition do press like Liverpool do, Madrid Barcelona , Bayern, PSG non of them are real pressing teams.
I remember Klopps Dortmund team pressing for a couple of seasons but then disintegrating as injuries hit, maybe Liverpool will too. My point being we have to find ways to beat Liverpool with what we have but we can't base our recruitment on just countering one or two teams.

i think we do have to think about countering one or two teams as with the rest they are no way near us..yes all will strengthen but no one has outplayed us even when we have been beaten (besides liverpool in short spurts) - it would have been interesting to see us against a barca, madrid, munich this season to see how we compared and faired

It's the other way round. Evading the press is Jorginho's speciality. You need more brains and passing ability for high-profile games, not pace.

I think the outcome of Liverpool games is one of the main reasons why we're interested in a player with such skillset.
