Saw what?

The move to Chelsea.

The fact that the City/Napoli negotiations are deadlocked and the possibility of a “deal” now looks deader than the dead parrot from the Monty Python sketch.

Surely, you must have had serious reservations that things stalled as early as 2/3 weeks ago.

Why do people expect deals to happen within days?

If Chelsea do come in now of course will.be easier for them as we have already done the work in convincing player it's time to leave, club it's time to sell etc

You are right, nothing has “changed”

City have stalled. This proposed deal is looking to be dead in the water.

It was the correct call. We won’t up our offer because the rags have came and hijacked the deal, it’s exactly the same as what happened with Sanchez. They do not dictate how much we are willing to offer a club for fees or how much wages we’re offering, that’s up to us and us only.

Any player who entertains the idea of going to play for PEG isn’t the player we need anyway.

Bloody hell mate you've gone full hummingbird over one article in which Pedulla, a man with no connection to either club, says Jorginho is a Sarri loyalist and so might be tempted by a move to chelsea. Not that chelsea are definitely interested, or that sarri is now chelsea manager, or that jorginho prefers chelsea, just that he has a decision to make. A decision which amounts to - would you like to work for your old boss who has won fuck all at a team not in the champions league or would you like to work with the worlds best manager who has won a shed load?

Not to mention the dozens of articles which have said it has been completed the most recent ones including phrases like 'city have given in to ADL's demands' which seems suspiciously like a briefing from the napoli when the fee certainly does not look like we have given them more than an inch.

true mate but i just found it interesting that it wasn`t actually jorginho we wanted?

Who said he’s signed for them?

Not me.

What I said was that our position seemed to have stalled weeks ago.

It is now a realistic possibility that Jorginho is going to be plying his trade at Stamford Bridge next season because there is a good chance Chelsea are prepared to pay circa €60m.

We clearly are not.

Television channel Sportitalia maintain both issues could be resolved together if Chelsea agree to pay at least €60m for Jorginho, beating the Manchester City offer.
