Seems our limit is about 100m gross.
I seriously doubt this. This is more about negotiation position and other variables, which includes our own valuation of players based in part by need and the market.
We are also clearly open to spending a massive amount on Mbappe so I believe our Chairman’s statement on the matter. It’s more flexible than a set spend amount.

This what bothers me the most, trying to negotiate with stubborn directors with big reputations. We supposedly had our targets months ago. Did we forget to ask what the absolute price is before we get to where we are today?
Could “moving the goal posts” maybe be what’s up? That’s what I think is our beef.

Not good enough.Why are we not targeting N'Zonzi? He is perfect for what we need with the position with pinging passes, defensive duties, and dealing with the press as hes constantly shown vs Pool. Absurd we aren't buying him at a similar age/price we bought Dinho for.

If we miss out on Jorginho due to a few million here and there and their owner doesn't back down and refuses our offer, we have dropped a bollock. Summer plans completely scrapped, back to the drawing board and start again.
We either get first choice targets or we keep what we have got.

We're looking for a pivot and someone that can play across the front line, not a no 10 with zero creativity that hangs around the box looking for loose balls.
