Jorginho

If Sarri is part of the package then knowing Chelsea Jorginho may have a new manager in 12 months or less. Every club has there own way of doing things and if City have lost out because of our way then so be it. We as fans can't complain since our owners transformed us.

I don’t get the “Not committed to City. Just interested in the money. Better off without.” argument.

All players are the same. As much as any people are the same. Doing the best for themselves and their families.

Football supporters (me included) are delusional mad folk and magic all sorts of dramatics.

I’d hope he comes but if he doesn’t he’s no less or more a person.

Thiago would be my choice - great player. I’m only sorry about missing out on Jourginho from the list above.
Good player when fit, but that’s not often enough these days unfortunately.

We already have a couple of players, in Gundo & Mendy, who are susceptible to injury and as a result need to be nursed along very gently in case either of them breaks down at any minute.

In a squad of only 25, I’m afraid we can’t affford to carry a third player who’s a known (bad injury) risk

I kind of wish we had just paid what Napoli wanted as 50m is hardly extortionate in today's market. Pep clearly wanted him and he clearly wanted City. However, it's not my money and I'm sure the club have their reasons for not paying the extra few million. It's disappointing but not the end of the world, I trust the club to have a contingency plan.

Only time will tell how costly this will become We have chased him all summer so surely we must rate him Thats Fred and now Jorghinho Not good both seemingly are first two targets

Sarri plays one dm amd Kante is better than Jorginho..weird
In Napoli Sarri played with 3 midfielders with Jorginho as the holding midfielder
Hamsik---Allan
---Jorginho----

Allan is quite similar to Kante, so I guess Jorginho will be the holding midfielder for Chelsea as well
Barkley/Golovin/RLC---Kante
--------------Jorginho-----------

As with the Sanchez situation in January, if there isn't a suitable alternative who we genuinely want available then we should keep our powder dry - I'd rather see us give the likes of Mooy, (who we have low buy-back clause for), Zinchenko, Delph and the new kid from PSG a go there first rather than splashing out on a panic but we will regret in twelve months time. We can always re-asses the situation in January if we think we need something extra to get us over the line in the various competitions we are still chasing at that stage. NO PANIC BUYS!
