This is such a shame. Usually you could say there is someone else that will do as good a job but unless you include Kroos who doesn’t fit the age we are looking at there isn’t. He would have fitted in perfectly.

You aren't offering anything to the actual conversation in question, just trying to make it personal and infer a criticism of the club I have supported for over 40 years.

I feel more than qualified to comment on perceived PR mistakes and the wider media, whether it be City or Ryanair for that matter.

City get plenty wrong, even if some find it an affront to say so.

If those mistakes keep happening, then people are hopefully held accountable.

My opinion has nothing to do with the transfer in question, only with how we handle and share information.

Oh, and City couldn't afford me ;)

I think that's not correct. City was trusting the player, and maybe still does, but we don't know what Jorginho wants.
Certainly Txiki is no idiot and didn't trust someone like Laurentiis.
 
Apparently Jorgunho's just arrived in London ahead of a move to Chelsea. £50m Plus £7m in add ons.

I had a feeling this would happen, especially since it was pointed out that his very vocal agent has gone missing over the last 2-3 weeks. Onwards & upwards eh...

De Laurentis seemed pretty clear about Sarri & Jorginho's futures, & he seemed happy with the deals from a Napoli point of view. It looks like this one is done & dusted, however we'll move on to other targets. The world doesn't begin & end with Jorginho.

To be honest, I'm more annoyed that we've wasted our time chasing him. I'd never noticed him before our interest, & there are other similar/better targets out there.

We're emotionally involved with City, Jorginho isn't. So for him it will be about Napoli being happier to sell to Chelsea at a higher price, Chelsea offering more money, Sarri being his manager & if rumours are correct, he preferred London. I'd have fucked him off just for the 'I prefer London' bit.

Fuck him, we move on.

Looks like Sarri used him offensively to me. Chelsea don't need a third defensive midfielder in the style of Kanye West, sorry Kante and babayako.

I don't mean this confrontationally as emotions are running a bit high right now understandably, but who are the similar/better targets? I haven't heard any linked to us.
