Here's the story doing the round regarding Joselu and Stoke. Thoughts?

My team-mates were saying in the WhatsApp group that Manchester City played like a group of friends kicking the ball about at the school playground. Manchester City had no attitude in the game. They almost made it to the finals despite wandering on the pitch.

Manchester City played with no attitude whatsoever and didn’t deserve to be in the Champions League semi-finals.

In the Premier League, Manchester City have had, shall we say a s****y season.

Toure was wandering on the pitch [on Wednesday night]. He should have run last night rather than against us in the league.

My team-mates are complaining a lot in the team’s WhatsApp group because weeks ago, Yaya Toure out-powered us in the league.

He ran so much he even got injured playing against us, as opposed to last night’s performance.
 
says more about Stoke and the fact we were able to thrash them more than anything.

Utter twunt though, cost a fair bit and has been crap for them this season, and missed several golden chances against us.

He should shut up and try harder himself. Joselu, so good he ended up swapping Real Madrid for Stoke.
 
That's the same Joselu who has had such a great season scoring four goals this season and in the past four years has played 100 games and scored 26 goals. I suggest he worry about his own s****y season
 
I don't see the relevance in the guys own or indeed his clubs season. What he has said there is bang on the money.
 
I actually think it's unprofessional for a current player in our league to spout crap like this about current individuals and clubs.

He played once for Real hardly makes him a expert.
 
No defending there's some truth in there but what the fuck has it got to do with him?

This group of players are flat track bullies though, enough said. It is gonna take a new coach and a bit of a shake up to correct that as a team.
 
I see it a bit differently.

Real Madrid are a better team than us both in terms of individual players and as a collective. To go through over the two legs we needed Joe to be immense (which he was) and to have a bit of luck. Key to it was to get to the 80 minute mark in the second leg still in the tie which we did. At that point we'd both hit the woodwork and they led through a deflected goal. They were clearly the better team and we hadn't had the luck but we were still in it. We needed one chance and we needed to take it. Sergio finally got a chance, a half chance for most players but for a player of his calibre a chance. It went a few inches over. If it had gone a little bit lower we'd have gone through and everybody would have said we'd done a job on Madrid. Fine margins but if we'd gone toe to toe with them from the off we would have probably been buried by that stage. Simeone and Mourihno have played it that way their entire careers with more than a little success.
 
I don't think Yaya really ran that much against Stoke tbh. Typical former Real player though, they are known for spouting off like this. They are the Spanish rags for a reason
 
As an ex RM player, who's now in the premier league, then it's fairly obvious that people might want to hear his opinion.
