Even after we switched to that formation, we played more often with a full back. I'd have thought it would be boxing us in a bit if Walker and Cancelo go, and Pep does like his options.

We didn’t though. We played with Walker 3 or 4 times (against pacy left wingers), more often than not, we had 4 “proper defenders” (Pep’s words) from Ake, Stones, Dias, Akanji and Laporte.

Laporte’s off and Gvardiol is in. We’re trying to keep Walker.
