Josko Gvardiol

I love Eric as much as the next guy but there’s a reason he hardly kicked a ball last season. He was poor when he got into the team and has been deservedly kept out of it by Ake, Akanji, Dias, Stones and Walker.

He’s a fantastic player who should be playing every week but I fear the ship has sailed between him and Pep and he’ll be off as soon as an offer comes in.

No point in even squabbling over ‘keep Laporte instead of buying Gvardiol’ IMO.

That and the age difference. Planning for the future and all that.

Where have you heard that because every other source is saying Leipzig won't let the lad go because they haven't got their replacement
I've literally read several articles tonight that are saying they want realistic add-ons. In other words we're still trying to chip away the fee at this late stage, we've wasted months and are now in a position where any club will try to fleece us anyway if we approach them for an alternative. So we're going to miss out on another of Pep's summer targets, and a lad who's more than likely gonna become the best in the world in his position.

I don't give a fuck what come backs I get from this, because it's a public forum and everyone is entitled to an opinion; our approach with transfers is at best decent and at worst shoddy and haphazard. One man and one man only masks our timidity in the market: Pep Guardiola. When he leaves, plan B's, C's and D's will be exposed.

It’s probably his media team doing bs. If Citys brief and now German briefs says it’s not done, it’s not done
i can’t be sure of course but i don’t think there’s a media team, maybe for important announcements or something.

he doesn’t have an entourage, does his own shopping and cooking, drove his old volkswagen golf until last year, even his leipzig apartment looks really modest and ordinary from what is visible in his photos.

i don’t know why he liked that post but i’d like to throw an old burek at him for doing that. stupid optimism.

and leipzig media team completely ignored his existence until today. weird.

There is no way we will be able to complete a deal with Napoli
With 120m Napoli sell Kvaratskhelia. This is the price. Napoli is expensive but is a selling club. And if you can spend 100m for Gvardiol, you can buy Kvara. And Kvara is worth the price (Gvardiol no).

Laporte got not bidders.

Pep wanted Bellingham and Rice too. Doesn’t mean shit if they Leipzig doesn’t budge.
Bellingham wanted Madrid, City didn't think Rice was worth 105m little different.

Laporte will be loaned out if nobody buys.

Leipzig won't need to budge we'll pay it, Leipzig are also trying to sign another CB maybe they want that over the line?

Loan where? No one is interested as of now.

City have their valuation, just like with Rice, and if Leizpig cannot see a compromise, they’ll move away.

You have been present at all the negotiations, all the Board meetings? Can I sell you some dry knickers?
