Now there's an idea, @Ric, mods can we have a pure speculation thread.Sorry. Didn’t realise we weren’t allowed to speculate.

If it's just speculation how about an 'I wonder' or 'maybe' or 'is it possible'. Not a statement like it 'must be that'Sorry. Didn’t realise we weren’t allowed to speculate.
Is it just us or is it just we follow every minute and every tweet in detail for our transfers but not other teams?we win a shitload of trophies so its fine, but transfer season always seem to be a bit of a circus with us.

Come on jrb, you're just perpetuating the myth that City throw money at buying players, we don't.On top of £700mill in revenues according to Soriano.
We’ve just won the CL and done the treble. Money is rolling into the club. You’d think we would want to cement our position at the top by bringing in a couple of World class players asap, instead we seem to be fucking about with other clubs, their valuation of players, which they’re entitled to do, and penny pinching, whilst our closest rival Arsenal has spent £200mill strengthening their team and squad, and Liverpool have strengthened their midfield, which they needed to do.
Seriously, what is going on at City atm regarding buying players?
Surely by now we realise that to stay at the top you have to spend your money wisely? Bringing in a couple of work class players asap is not a strategy that exists. There isn’t a club on the planet bar perhaps Real Madrid who seem to be able to execute that.On top of £700mill in revenues according to Soriano.

You're letting your opinion of Soriano cloud your judgement on all aspects of the club. Our transfer dealings over the last few years are second to none, hence our siccess on the pitch, while mot spending what others are spending. On top of £700mill in revenues according to Soriano.
