Joules gone bust

It never ceases to amuse me what posters on here believe constitutes ‘posh’.
I used be the rugby league coach for the school teams at a school in Lower Broughton I used to work at. I drove them in the minibus to a school in Worsley where we went past some fairly average but reasonable post-war semi-detached houses on the way, to which one of the kids said ‘Sir, there’s some money round ere eh? This where the footballers live? Proper posh mate!’

Some on here think Didsbury is posh.
 
Store lease/rent prices have been astronomical over the past few years which have sunken other retailers. Common theme is having too many stores against low footfall.

Their target market of middle aged men / women might be too isolated. Most other brands are modernising to grab market share of the younger generation who are obsessed with fast fashion and endorsements/collabs.
No assets on balance sheet at the mercy of greedy landlords with eye watering rents - lesson in owning property you trade from
