Got for £22million then spent two years never showing that potential we thought he had beyond the odd ten minutes. His injury record below is pretty damning, it's a big loss on that investment but we knew he had injury problems coming in, and this is the risk in buying for potential.

Inter have reportedly agreed terms with Manchester City for Stevan Jovetic, a loan with mandatory option for €15m plus bonuses.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the negotiations are down to the final details and sped up considerably over the past few hours.

The Montenegro international was already pushing for a move, but it seems the two clubs have also reached an agreement now.

Jovetic will join Inter on loan with mandatory option to buy for €15m plus performance related bonuses.

He could well be at San Siro for his presentation by the end of next week.

The forward was specifically requested by Coach Roberto Mancini and has even less chance of playing regularly at Manchester City this season.
