Juanma Lillo | Leaving the club before the CWC (p52)

Neil Warnock media conspiracy. Love it but cannot see it .. haha. Go back to sleep and quit dreaming or should it be having nightmares?
I tipped Warnock for the job at the swamp before the new clown got it . Even went on Sky TV to get him the gig. So I reckon city have jumped in early before he takes over at the swamp after Xmas.

Don’t know enough about what Lillo does behind the scenes, but this seems like a decent enough idea. Refresh the coaching set up whilst keeping Pep at the helm, give the players something different in the dressing room.

A fair few posters slagging off someone who they have never met and have no idea of what input the man has had, when did we as a fan base become such a set ungrateful, reactionary and downright disrespectful cunts?

Good luck with your future Lillo and thanks for your efforts.
I'd say it's the effect of the online world we live in mate. It's not just limited to blues, many folk judge people based on limited knowledge and then make derogatory or just plain nasty comments about them. Everyone feels they have the right to be horrible, whereas in real life they probably wouldn't dare.

Think the coaching staff needs a refresh. Am sure he did a good job but he just looked lethargic on the bench. Someone like Fernandinho who knows the club inside and out would be ideal. Xavi would be an exciting choice too and maybe a chance to replace Pep in a couple of years if he impresses.

We don't see what happens during the week, on the training pitch, I grant you that, but come on man, whether it's at the ground or pics on tv, he's hardly an awe inspiring hands on exciting guy is he?

The only plus for him he doesn't look as asleep as Pellegrini's right hand man did during games yawning.

Pass him my regards if you speak to him

So you’re pissing on his chips because he doesn’t he doesn’t inspire you? He’s not been employed for that though has he? We are pretty much all in agreement that a few new faces are needed but as I said there is no need for some of the stuff from some posters.

So you just want a side show like arteta or tindall going apeshit on the sidelines?

Pep wanted him back after he left, that suggests to me pep values him And given the role is peps assistant I'd wager that's the most important thing.

Peps had him twice now so I've no reason to doubt he's good at his job and helps pep but the turnover of our backroom staff is like no other so I don't expect this to be a major thing.

They're constantly getting poached as others scramble for anybody that's been in contact with Pep in the hope his magic can rub off on them.

Whoever pep wants is fine by me, hopefully somebody to reinvigorate him, inject some freshness and new ideas and cause him to up the tempo in our game.

Bonus if it's a club legend but ultimately doesn't matter.
An assistant who will challenge Pep when things aren’t going well on the pitch would help
